Thank you for another set of sweet comments on Oct. 15th, I lit 3 candles that evening at 7PM. One for the little one I lost, one for the women who have losses in their past, and another candle for those women currently experiencing losses.
I'm so grateful for this sweet little community at Southern Hope. Y'all really are amazing and I love getting to know each of you better each time you comment.
This past weekend, my mom and I decided to drive up to IKEA for some items for the new house. I've been planning this trip for a while now and we just knew that this time we would be prepared to enter and defeat the Swedish monster. 5 hours later, we emerged thirsty, tired, and so disoriented we couldn't remember what we bought or who we road up there with... and poor Little Monkey. I carried him around the store in the Ergobaby, those of you first time moms let me just go ahead and tell you: YOU HAVE TO GET ONE.
Saturday feels like a blur. I remember eating some Ikea treats, food off the grill that The Big Dawg cooked, watching Downton Abbey, and a little bit of the Georgia game before passing out at 9:30PM #imabum.
Sunday, we decided to stay in, Little Monkey has that seasonal head cold grossiness that's been going around and we didn't want to further contaminate the rest of the community. The Big Dawg and I cleared out more from the backyard, it's slowly coming around y'all...
For those of you wanting an update on my rheumatoid arthritis, my doctor said I am having moderate disease activity and she suggested Humira shots till I do get pregnant. I haven't decided if I'm in enough pain for that, for now Ibuprofen seems to keep it under control...
