The weather in Georgia has been perfect for biking. R and I did several laps around the block and ended up stuck in a rainstorm. We came back soaked, when flying down the hills the rain got into my eyes, it stung, but was really fun!
Also there was a rainbow over my parent's house, it was beautiful. Of course I took no pictures because I had nothing on me, but it was amazing!
My mom's butterfly  bushes also known as Lantana bloomed this week. When they aren't in bloom, they are rather scary looking just a bunch of sticks going every which way. I haven't seen any butterflies attracted to them yet, but they are so pretty!

Do y'all remember the post about the Big Project? Well last weekend we actually made a lot of progress with our dresser!! We stripped the nasty white paint and sanded that bad boy till not a hint of paint was left. The previous owners decided white, yellow, and green were a good color combo. They also added seashells for that beachy look, gross.
I'll post before and after pics once we have it all done!
R and I on our walk downtown before dad's tribute speech last weekend.

I feel like this one doesn't need an explanation, but I'll go there.
We received some new books for circulation this week and this was one of the graphic novels.
Look familiar?
I swear the artist has seen pictures of Milo, the similarity is ridiculous!
My hours changed this week to the summer hours, which means night time cardio!!
It is still light outside when I leave work, so I head over to the gym for some stair climbers, bike or elliptical, and walk while I watch Chopped.
I love Food Network, what about y'all?

I have a new project at work taking on our social media outreach with the students. I have so many exciting ideas for this fall, like drawings, book recommendations, and a little "first to like or comment gets a candy bar" type things. We now have Instagram and Facebook started, hoping to possibly start Twitter, but have no idea what a library would say?!
I'm excited to get started!

On my afternoon walk I saw these purple, blue, and pink hydrangeas. I knew I would regret it if I didn't share their beauty with y'all.
We've had so much rain lately it is like a humid jungle here, but lots of growth, green grass, and beautiful flowers!

Hope ya'll have a fun filled weekend!

Beautiful flowers...I have switched to my summer hours which means morning yoga for me. :) Don't you love summer hours?

We don't get any flowers like that here at all. We are too dry. I haven't had time to work on my flower bed either and my Shasta Daisies are going to die on me before our rainy season starts next month. :( Thanks for sharing yours with us! They are gorgeous! I have never Lantana before. I would love those in my yard!
