Words to Love By

“You have to accept whatever comes and the only important thing is that you meet it with courage and the best you have to give”

Eleanor Roosevelt

"All the world needs is a little bit more of you"

How to Train Your Dragon (R and I absolutely loved this movie!)

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Just thinking of my Southern Hope readers this lovely Sunday evening. R and I had a nice, relaxing weekend with food and lots of napping. We are getting prepared for our Texas trip, leaving hopefully sometime this coming weekend.

Thinking of y'all and so grateful for all your sweet messages and hope filled comments! Keep hope alive people!!

Marjorie Hinckley is my favorite. She was just so sweet and down to earth and had so many beautiful, insightful things to say.
