This waffle maker has been serving up hot waffles on Saturday mornings in the Brown House for several months now! I did cardio in the morning to earn that waffle with syrup!
This necklace came in the mail from R as a late birthday present. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE it! It's a picture of the Washington D.C. Temple where we were married in 2009!
Heading out for the Stake Conference adult session last Saturday night. We had a visit from Elder Scott D. Whiting from the Seventy who greeted us with a loud Aloha!!
Read this YA novel last week, magical story about a girl's cross country trip looking for "home" after her mother dies. My only complaint, I wished the author presented police officers in a better light than she did, so kids know they are there to help and not to be scared of them. (This coming from a girl whose dad always told her never to call a police officer a "cop" because it was slang and disrespectful, gotta love him!).
Picture of campus one night while I was waiting to be picked up from work. My car had the oil changed and new tires replaced for our trip to Texas!!
FINALLY, (can't go into detail about the drama behind this series), we have the entire Diary of a Wimpy Kid series at our library and I was SO excited to make a display for the kids! All of them but two have already been checked out!
A local store had a sale on Vera Bradley products, isn't this hair clip the cutest?!
This is probably my favorite Jen Lancaster read. I've read her books before and this one does not disappoint! It's about a woman who gets a second chance at being the nice girl in high school instead of ruining everybody's lives (as she found out at her high school 20 year reunion). Rated PG13 for some foul language.
I'm trying out a new idea at work. Displaying a case for students to take home our two week old magazines. Vainly hoping my idea brings more customers to the library! Every little bit of customer service helps in getting students to come in and WANT to come back!
Checked these books out for our 30 hour (round trip) to Texas. I wanted some light reading (chick lit) since R is very hard to read around and I am not the best at riding in a car, so here's to hoping I don't get car sick!

PS- I refuse to hashtag in any of my Instagram photos, am I am the only one who feels this way? I don't want my pictures being on every public "wall", so my Facebook is "friends only" and my Instagram is on private, am I a weirdo or are there more of you like me out there?!

I'll have to look up what hashtag means. Curious about what you think of your trip book selection after you read them. The necklace is gorgeous.

I need a job at the library! I'd love to be surrounded by beautiful dreamy books all day, but I guess a school is the next best thing...

We have waffles every Sunday for dinner. After 3+ years we're starting to wonder when it's finally going to die on us, hopefully not too soon.

The only times I can read in the car and not get sick is actually when I'm on a public bus, which is actually a great place to read.

And despite the fact that I have a very public blog/site, I'm extremely protective on social media sites and keep the privacy settings super tight there.

I love Vera Bradley products. We have this recipe for buttermilk waffles that is a sunday night treat or saturday morning treat, on occasion. Cute picture of the two of you. I am the same as you. Friends only and when I did instagram, private. I have an old itouch that doesn't have a camera, so instagram was a pain. One day I hope to upgrade :)
