He Is Not Here! For He is Risen!

While trying to put into words how I feel about the Resurrection, I came across this video from LDS.org. It is a 7 min. beautiful, children friendly video about the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. I hope y'all take the time to watch and ponder your feelings on this Easter Sunday.
My testimony of my Savior the Lord Jesus Christ is a strong one bound to the trials of my heart. Through the years I have endured and witnessed others enduring painful times, and for me the only comfort was to know someone was out there listening as I prayed. A Lord in Heaven who sent His son to atone for the sins of the world. Who taught us the greatest commandment of all:
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another,
 John 13:34.

This Easter season, I reflect on what believing in a Savior of the world has done for my life. I feel more peace, comfort, and I am able to share that peace and comfort with others. I feel compassion and an attitude of service and gratitude, and I want to share that with others. I feel renewed, baptized weekly as I take the Sacrament and renew my covenants with the Lord. And I want to share that feeling of renewal with those around me.

This Spring as you see the blooming flowers, the green grass, the little ones popping up in nests. Ponder on the renewing of this earth at this time after months of a dead like winter. When you think of this, when you see those flowers in bloom, I hope you also think of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and that through Him we will all be reunited with our families in heaven. We will be resurrected one day as He was and we will see our families again.
For me, that is the greatest miracle of all.
