Our chuch ward hours changed from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM to 11:30 AM-2:30 PM for this year. It has been so nice sleeping in, having a real breakfast, and taking our time getting dressed before church. No more rushing around, grabbing juice or a protein shake, and half blow drying my hair.

This was our first weekend back on our normal schedule. I am not ashamed to say,  I spent Friday evening organizing a school binder for R. I just couldn't handle it anymore and had to take over the binder. Shopping at the college bookstore for the next semester's books and a new binder with dividers was my favorite thing about college, so yes I like to participate in it with R...

Very similar to Monica's obsession with the adoption binder. I hope y'all get that reference. I was that excited and showed R how to handle it with care!

We found a new park to walk Sunny, a more woodsy area in downtown Athens. She dragged us through the woods on a mile and a half trail.
Then slept for the rest of the day.
Saturday night we had our Family Home Evening. Something R and I are trying to be better about this year is setting aside a night once a week when we share a spiritual thought, discuss it, and afterwards have a prayer and a treat. Our church encourages us to have FHE weekly, but with us living apart we have had a hard time following through, but this weekend it worked! We prepared our Primary lesson together and had a yellow butter cake with chocolate icing. Yum!

Hope y'all had a peace filled Sabbath day!

Oh I envy your time. We switched from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., which is great for sleeping in but a bit late. Your time is about perfect.

We switched from 10am to 8am. But since I had 8am meetings last year and now have the same meetings at 11:30, the only difference is I'm now on time for my meetings. I'm still at church for the same amount of time.
