I Love Barns and Roads and Bridges and....

I see so much beauty and history in buildings, I grew up in the South, in an antebellum town, and have admiration for buildings still standing. Run down barns sprinkle any road trip through the deep South.

I see roads and think of Robert Frost.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

I see a bridge protecting us from the troubling, bubbly waters beneath their boards.
Elevating us from bad decisions, water washing away past mistakes, and nails permanently sealing loved ones in our hearts.

Railroad tracks always have a story to tell, all those trains, bare footed walkers trying to get to the next town, and rebellious teenagers getting an adrenaline rush.
